Whether you’re a Pilates novice or an experienced student, our staff can help you tailor a program to suit your goals and schedule.
New to Pilates? Here’s some useful info:
- Wear comfortable clothes, things that will stretch as you move. No need to be fancy, sweats are fine. If you like it, so do we!
- Please come a few minutes early to your scheduled class or private to fill out a brief health history form.
- We provide all the equipment you will need, including mats for class. So just bring you! (For Yoga class, you are encouraged to bring your own.)
- Pilates is done without shoes, and you may choose to be barefoot or wear socks.
New to the studio? Here’s a few things you may like to know:
- There is ample street parking, and also parking behind the building.
- Please leave your shoes at the door! It cuts down on tracking into our cozy space, especially in the winter!
- There are hooks to place your jackets and bags just inside the front and back door.
- We have a shower for those who need to ‘freshen up’ before heading out. It and the bathroom are located on the lower level.
- We have a water dispenser, and you are welcome to bring your own bottle.
Take advantage of these opportunities to learn more.
- Come try your first class, and your second is on us!
- Sign up for a private lesson. If this is your first Pilates experience, we recommend you begin with a private lesson for an introduction to basic Pilates skills and principles, specifically designed to your needs and goals. We offer a special introductory rate of $60 for new students.
